Overview
The Morgan Motor Company has over a hundred years of family history, being the longest running car maker to still be owned by the founding family, and the last in the UK. On this fantastic tour of the factory, you will view the Morgan film before being taken down to the workshops where you will see the automobiles being made from start to finish. Discover how the way in which these cars are made is environmentally friendly and uses both cutting edge technology and traditional skills.
After you have enjoyed the tour you can take in all the wonders of the museum before taking a seat in the café. Here you will be served a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats, including finger sandwiches, fruit scones with clotted cream and jam, and iced cupcakes. All this will be accompanied by your choice of tea, coffee or herbal infusion to make this a tour to be remembered.

What happens on the day?
When you arrive at the Morgan Motor Company Factory, you will be greeted by your tour guide who, following the Morgan film, will take you down into the workshops as you begin the tour. You will see how a Morgan Sports Car is made from start to finish, and then explore the museum at your leisure.
Afterwards, make your way to the Morgan café where you will be served a wonderful afternoon tea complete with sandwiches, scones and iced cupcakes. Choose from tea, coffee, herbal and decaffeinated infusions to accompany this delightful selection.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 5 (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult)
- There is wheelchair access but please advise at the time of booking you will need assistance
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
Availability
Available on weekdays only (All day Monday to Thursday and mornings only on Fridays) excluding bank holidays and factory shutdowns. Please contact the supplier for updated availability.
Please note - the visitor centre will be closed from 9 December 2019 to 21 March 2020 inclusive.
We advise booking at least 8 to10 weeks in advance but during the summer months this increases to 12 weeks to ensure that dates are available. This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. All bookings are subject to availability.
You should allow approximately 2 hours for the tour but allow extra time for the afternoon tea and Museum visit.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Enjoyable Day
Excellent and informative tour by well informed guide who kept us all entertained with his stories. The tour is both outside and inside so be prepared to be dressed for the weather! Lots of cars to see and really close to everything going on in the various factory departments. We had afternoon tea afterwards (taken at lunchtime!) which was delicious. The cafe, shop and museum are very modern, unlike the factory where you feel you have stepped back in time. Well worth a visit.

A brilliant and really interesting experience
The factory tour was very informative wiht a really knowledgable guide, being so close to where the cars are made was brilliant. The afternoon tea was very tasty with sandwiches, quiche, scones, brownies and shortbread, all very tasty.

Great day out
Really enjoyed our two hour tour. The guide was excellent and very informative This was given to us as a Christmas present which included an afternoon tea which we found very poor. The scones were rock hard and the service was terrible as there was not enough staff to help. I had to go up to the counter and get some plates, knives and serviettes I would definitely recommend the tour but don’t buy the combined afternoon tea which can come with the tour

Great experiance
Virgin staff extended the voucher due to Covid, thanks. Booking with Morgan Motors was easy, very pleasant staff, The tour day staff were friendly, helpful & allowed us to roam around the experience centre at will looking at all the lovely and expensive Morgan's The factory tour guide was knowledgeable and kept us entertained with car related episodes, great day out, a truly great tour

Fascinating and well organised
I've owned a 1948 Morgan since 1974 but never been to the factory before. The day was a birthday gift from my daughter who came with me. We both really enjoyed the relaxed but fascinating day. It was well organised and we were made very welcome by the staff. The afternoon tea was great too.

Great Day Out!
My daughter bought us this day out a long time before the dreaded pandemic. Virgin were very kind to us by extending the amount of time we had to be able to use the vouchers. When we could use them, and when Morgan started doing factory tours again, it was very easy to book. The tour itself was 1st class, with a very knowledgeable, interesting, and enthusiastic guide. The afternoon tea which was included in the package was also brilliant. All the staff we met were very friendly and efficient!

Very good afternoon
A very well led afternoon around the Morgan factory at Malvern. Fascinating to see how these cars are put together, and we were allowed really up close to the processes. Neither of us are "petrol heads" but these are beautiful cars. And our tea was very good!

Wonderful day
Very good, informative tour of the Morgan Factory. Lots to see and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Afternoon tea was very good, a shade under excellent if I'm being picky. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Finally, thanks to Virgin Experience and Morgan for being very flexible due to the pandemic.

Great day out

Great informative tour
Lovely afternoon tour, great seeing these iconic cars mostly hand built in the various stages as you follow the build through from chassis to final paint and learn the history and you go. Well worth doing to see the various skills mainly lost in modern day car production that make up a Morgan car.

Everything I wanted to know about Morgan cars!
An absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. We were very lucky to only have 2 other people on our tour of the factory. The guide (Cousin Nick) was brilliant, very knowledgeable and personable, so we were able to ask lots of questions. The 2-hour tour just flew by, took lots of photos and got to talk to some of the employees. Really appreciate the process of a hand made car. The afternoon tea although simple was delicious and the staff were lovely. Just a fantastic day, thank you.

Great experience
There is a real touch of class about the Morgan car factory from first impressions through the tour and the afternoon tea. The tour took you round the whole factory and was supported by use of a audio system so you could hear everything the guide told us despite the noise in some areas. You have to admire the quality of the workmanship and the way everything is organised. You need a coat if wet or cold as part of tour is outdoors. Highly recommend this experience.

What a lovely day at the Morgan Car Factory. From start to finish i was totally enthralled. Every thing went to plan. The guide at the Factory was so knowledgeable. A great day out.

Great place to visit
Birthday present for my Father who throughly enjoyed the experience. Andy our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The afternoon tea after was not one of the best but nonetheless a nice finish to the day.

What a good birthday present!
Though delayed by over a year it was worth the wait. Full marks to the customer relations team. The manager himself e mailed me and rearranged the date after the covid shutdown. Our guide Brian was knowledgeable, and amusing, I particularly liked the use of headsets and boom mike. It meant we missed nothing despite the noise of a working factory. The cream tea at the end had been in the fridge till a bit too close to the serving time but other than that I could noyt fault the day.

Enjoyable for all
A gift from my parents, a tour of the Morgan factory in Malvern. The tour was in groups of 10 and a lovely guide. The ear pieces meant we all heard what the guide was saying. Lots of walking through all or the workshops showing the cars from start to finish. It was really fascinating seeing cars made by hand, no robots in sight. Even if you are not a petrol head it is still enjoyable.

We had a very interesting tour
We had a very informative tour guide who took us all around the factory to see the various stages of cars being built by hand. We learnt a lot about the cars, the history of the company and we got an insight into present day issues. The afternoon tea was very tasty, it was served in paper cups and plates but I believe that is just because of work being done to the kitchen. The service was very friendly and efficient and we would definitely recommend this experience.

Long time no see = how you've changed!!
Well organised tour and excellent guide. I saw a huge change in the site since my previous visit a couple of decades ago! Professionalism, cleanliness, pride in the work, surprising changes, revised choice of colours now on offer - all good to see! Delightful tea and cakes after the tour. Sorry to see the end of fly off handbrakes (it's what makes the Morgan so special I think) but the power steering will be welcomed by many. A great day out - "THANK YOU"

A very informative and fun time with an intelligent and lively guide to the factory tour. Use of headsets allowed a full commentary in a fairly noise factory environment. A lot of walking and standing so not for the to ambulatory impaired - put that is clear on the website. Full marks and nice cars.

Fabulous experience!
Morgan factory tour was really good. Expert guide Peter took us round & in spite of many challenging questions was able to answer everything Great to see skills being handed down to the next generation by people with a passion for their art - that was a theme we saw everywhere: in the museum, in the shop and in the cafe. Really enjoyed the afternoon tea - it really set off the whole experience.
