Produced between 1968 and 1980 as a fun, affordable and lightweight sports car, now’s your chance to go behind the wheel of this iconic car. A stone’s throw from Shoeburyness train station, set off from the Essex seaside town soaking up the stunning countryside as you take this car for a spin. You can’t help but smile when you are driving one of these pocket rockets.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at 9:30am, you’ll be warmly greeted by the staff as they complete checks and give you a short briefing. Once you’re ready to go, you can get behind the wheel of a classic MG Midget.
Your experience will last from 10am to 6pm at the latest, returning the car back with a full tank of petrol. There is the option to upgrade your experience by purchasing a Winter Warmer or Traditional Picnic Hamper full of delightful goodies.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 25
- Maximum age: 70
- Guidelines are that you should be a maximum of 6ft, with a maximum weight of 17 stone be safe and comfortable to drive.
- A refundable deposit of £250 is required on the day
- All participants must hold a full UK or EU driving licence for at least 2 years and present the original on the day of the experience.
- All participants need to be able to drive a full manual vehicle.
- All participants need to be in good health and be able to enter and exit the vehicle unaided.
- All participants need to be able to understand instructions during the briefing.
- All participants must not have been involved in more than one incident which was their fault in the last three years. Have not had their licence revoked or have been banned from driving in the last three years. Have no more than 2 minor convictions or more than six penalty points either obtained or pending. Have not obtained a BA, DD UT or other serious conviction/s.
- Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
- The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover.
- An Indemnity/Damage Waiver of £39 is payable on site. The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held and the full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator. We are unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of these products.

Availability
Please check the validity of your voucher as it is essential that you book and take your experience before the expiry date.
The experience is available between 10.00 and 18.00, seven days a week throughout the year, excluding Bank Holidays. Further exclusions may apply.
Government guidelines regarding COVID are adhered to make this a safe experience, which can be taken throughout, apart from during national lockdown.
We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 8 hours 30 mins for the full experience - check-in in at 09.30, hire is from 10.00 to 18.00
