Take your driving to another level and feel the pressure of this immersive, adrenaline-fuelled rush. You’ll take the role of a fugitive on the run in a high-speed car chase. Beware it’s not all about speed, though; it requires tactical decision making, quick reactions and evasive driving skill to outrun the Dodge Charger Police Interceptor. “Fantastic day”
I was given the Police Pursuit Experience for Christmas and attended as soon as possible at the Drift Limits site at Hemel Hempstead. Can't praise the staff enough, everyone really friendly. The experience itself was amazing, loved every minute but ended up in the field so got caught! Brilliant from start to finish.

What happens on the day?
On arrival, you’ll begin with a 25 minute introductory brief, covering racing lines, throttle and braking technique and trackday safety etiquette. You’ll then get behind the wheel for 10 minutes of track-paced sighting laps behind the Drift Limits Dodge Charger, where you’ll receive tuition on basic racing lines and procedures for the arrest if you’re captured!
Once the lights of the Police Interceptor turn on, it’s time for the main event, evading your pursuers over 15 minutes of adrenaline-fuelled speed, precision and tactical driving!

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 17 (under 18s need parental/guardian consent)
- Maximum age: 80
- Minim height: 4ft 8in
- Maximum height: 6ft 2in
- Maximum weight: 18 stone
- You must hold a full, manual driving licence. You must present your licence on the day of your experience; photocopies will not be accepted
- All drivers must have a good understanding of the English language for instruction purposes
- All drivers need to be in reasonable health
- Glasses must be worn in required
- Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
- Spectators are welcome. All children must be accompanied by a non-participating adult
- No pets are allowed on site (except for assistance dogs)
- Race tracks can be noisy and so may not be suitable for small children
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
- The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover.
- Some driving operators require customers to complete an Indemnity/Damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This may state that the driver will be liable for a fixed amount of costs should they damage the vehicle whilst driving. Most of these suppliers are able to provide Indemnity/Damage Waiver at a small additional fee (usually £20-£45) payable on site. The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held by all venues. The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator. We are unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of these products.
