Overview
Sea, sand and surf - Turn your dreams into reality and the two of you can experience this extreme water sports challenge together. Whether you are beginners or improvers you can develop your surfing skills while having great fun at one of the UK’s most stunning beaches.
You’ll acquire the basic knowledge and skills to get yourselves started or if you’ve already taken the plunge before then you can sharpen up your abilities with help from the experienced and qualified instructors. The two of you will have 3 to 4 hours of serious wet and wild fun, while taking part in one of the most exhilarating experiences Mother Nature has to offer us. Now is the time! Slip into that wetsuit, grab your board and head for that sandy beach with those awesome waves.

What happens on the day?
On arrival for your lesson you should meet your instructors at the Preseli Venture lodge to get kitted up and meet your instructors. You will then travel by minibus for the short drive to the best beach the instructors chose on the day, where your lesson will begin. You can leave your car in the private car park at the centre.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 8
- You must be able to swim 25 metres
- Participants will be required to fill in a medical health and fitness declaration form. Please check with your doctor if you have any medical concerns
- An enrolment / fitness declaration must be completed on the day of the activity during your registration
- Spectators are welcome, however views may be restricted
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Selected weekends and weekday dates from March to November subject to surf conditions.
We recommend you book at least two to four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available . All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 2 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours for this activity. The start and finish times may vary depending on weather and surf conditions, please check with the supplier at the time of booking.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Wonderful Hospitality
Unfortunately there as no surf on the day so instead of going surfing we went coasteering (although we could have gone kayaking) and had an absolute ball. The lodge is really nice and we ended up staying a couple of nights to make a trip of it. There are some lovely beaches and walks nearby and the people at Preseli Venture are really really friendly and accommodating
