Customer Reviews
“Lovely Afternoon Tea ”
Toki restaurant is a lovely setting in which to have a Japanese afternoon tea. Service was good. The food we had was delicious especially the savory dishes which we would have preferred more of as the sweet dishes were more substantial. We haven't given 5 stars as there was confusion with the drinks we had been served as part of our experience and we were presented with an unexpected bill. This was eventually sorted out as their error but made us feel a bit awkward.
“Ok but not enough sandwiches”
There was more than enough cakes (which we couldn't eat) but there wasn't enough non-sweet food. My husband and I are not big eaters but there was so little food that we ended up ordering a few starters. The tea was ok, the sake was ok - overall everything was fairly average and not really worth the expensive price tag. We asked for a red wine which still hadn't arrived after 15 mins. After chasing, was told it wasn't ordered! Service was slow despite the restaurant only having 3 other tables
