What happens on the day?
You’ll be greeted on arrival and taken through to your pre-booked table, where you’ll get a chance to take in Issho’s beautiful contemporary décor while the chefs prepare your afternoon tea. You’ll be presented with an array of delicious food, with four savoury choices and four sweet, as well as a selection of Japanese and British teas.

Availability
The experience is available Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 12.00 to 14.30.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes for the full experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Great food, atmosphere and service
We visited here on Saturday after a voucher was given to us for Christmas. The food was lovely and so was the service and the setting on the rooftop was bliss. Only negative was we had to order 3 more dishes as the afternoon tea wasn't very filling. Other than thay lovely place will certainly be back!!

A lovely experience
Booked this Japanese afternoon tea up as I was visiting family in Leeds. A beautiful venue with a friendly warm welcome. Calm and tranquil setting. Afternoon tea was a pretty eye catching display of lovely mouthful of delight. Very interesting and different from your usual sandwiches and cake. The whole experience was wonderful.

japanese Inspired afternoon tea at Issho Leeds
A very nice meal well presented in a pleasant setting. However booking was difficult with the venue initially denying they could provide the experience then on arrival finding the booking had been cancelled inspite of email confirmation. Staff member sorted this out quickly and efficiently and luckily there was space for us. Would recommend 4 stars if booking issue sorted.

Disappointing
We arrived at 1.50 for a 2pm booking. We were given the menus, ordinary and gluten free and advised we didn't have to chose anything, we got everything on the menu. Our order for tea was taken and promptly brought. By 2.30 no food had arrived and others arriving after us had theirs. Waiters walk passed us as if we didn't exist. I caught someones eye at 2.35 and finally food arrived at 2.45. No edamame beans and 2 gf desserts substituted with fruit. Felt as if treated a bit 2nd class!
