Introduction to Eagle Handling
About this experience
Spend an afternoon meeting, handling and learning about some of nature’s most awe-inspiring predators with this Introduction to Eagle Handling experience.
You’ll get to handle four different species from Eagle Heights’ collection, and though it depends which birds are feeling best on the day you’ll get to meet species such as the Bataleur, Steppe and maybe even the Steller’s Sea Eagle – one of the biggest eagles in the world!
Make sure you bring along a camera to capture these amazing birds in action. This experience also includes entry to the rest of Eagle Heights Wildlife Park so you can meet the other animals and birds that live in the sanctuary. Learn something new this year and handle some fearsome hunters in the West Kent countryside.

“Amazing afternoon”
First time at Eagle heights for a few years and they're even better than before. Having done hawking experiences with them I thought the Eagle one would be the same, but nothing really prepares you for the sheer size and majesty of them. Regardless of preview experience I can highly recommend this event to anyone. Sophie, the falconer, was great too! Very knowledgeable and engaging.
“Eagle Heights Birds of Prey Handling”
What an absolutely fabulous experience. It was so exciting to be able to handle such incredible birds. There were plenty of photo opportunities and Richard was brilliant; full of information, anecdotes but above all, he was passionate about the birds. I'd LOVE to do this again and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves birds.
