You’ll discover the basics of chocolate making as the talented team teach you how to work with chocolate, make ganache and professionally temper it. You’ll create your own traditional chocolate truffles, including preparing tempered chocolate.
Beautifully wrapped, you’ll take home approximately 300g of your own chocolate creations, alongside a host of recipes and newly-found chocolate making skills.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at York Cocoa Works, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the team ready for your hands-on workshop. You’ll discover the basics of chocolate making including how to work with it, make ganache and professionally temper it before putting your new-found knowledge to the test creating your own chocolate truffles.

The experience takes place on the first Saturday of the month throughout the year. Exclusions may apply.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
