Get ready for an action-packed day with this High Ropes and Archery Experience at The Bear Grylls Adventure.
At 65 ft tall, you’ll take on the tallest high ropes course in Europe, boasting stunning views of the surrounding area at the top. With its free roam structure, you’re free to create your own adventure course, selecting which of the 36 obstacles to tackle ranging from simple rope bridges to more challenging rolling logs.
Once back on firm ground, you’ll head out onto the archery range and take on a series of targets. After testing your aim, you’ll compete in various games and exciting challenges before enjoying unlimited access to the Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course.

What happens on the day?
Your day will begin at the Bear Grylls High Ropes Course, the tallest of its kind in Europe. With its free roam structure, create your own adventure course selecting which of the 36 obstacles to tackle. When you overcome these, you’ll be ready to take on the next stage of the adventure – archery. Heading out onto the range, practice your aim before competing in a series of games and challenges. As part of the day, you’ll enjoy unlimited access to the Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course.

Participant guidelines
- Age Restrictions: Participants must be 8+ years. 8 and 9 year olds must be accompanied on the activity by an adult aged 18 or over. This adult must have a full activity ticket.
- Adults accompanying guests aged 8 and 9 are required to remain on the same High Ropes level as the child/children at all times.
- Guests aged 10-16 years will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied. Parent or guardian accompanying those aged 10 to 13 is required to remain on site.
- Weight Restrictions: Maximum weight 130kg
- Height Restrictions: Minimum height 130cm. Maximum height 203cm
- The experience is not suitable for pregnant women
- You must have a reasonable level of fitness
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
The experience is available on selected dates. Exclusion dates including 25 December will apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow up to 1 hour or the full experience depending on the choice made (including registration and briefing). Please allow additional time to enjoy the Royal Marines-inspired assault course.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
