What happens on the day?
On arrival at Millets Farm, you’ll be warmly welcomed before setting off on your Hawk Walk. You’ll be provided with special gloves, so that as you walk, you’ll be fully prepared for the exhilaration of a Harris Hawk swooping down from the treetops to land on your fist!
A fantastic experience for those looking for something different.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 8 (under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
- Includes all day entry to the falconry centre
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
The experience is available Tuesday to Sunday. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available (you are advised to allow four to six for weekend bookings) . All bookings are subject to availability.
The Hawk Walk will last approximately 40 minutes, please allow additional time to visit the rest of the centre.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A Hawk to remember
Birthday gift from my brother (attended together). Arrived in time for the flying display which was well worth it; great fun and some unusual species taking part. Each one with it's own personality which really shone through. We spend the afternoon at the center which had lots to do for all. Walk itself was through beautiful countryside. Our falconer was passionate & informative about the birds and Echo was a joy to watch fly and amazing to see up close as he landed, gently on our gloved hands.

Amazing Hawk Walk
Fantastic opportunity to walk with a Harris Hawk, experience him landing on my gloved arm and learn more about the species. One to one and covid secure, a truly amazing experience and fantastic photo opportunity. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

A real gem of a place
Our Hawk Walk was absolutely amazing, handsome Echo (the Harris Hawk) was a treat! Vey informative and really enjoyable, so many lovely birds - thank you so much for a lovely experience.

Stunning!
Excellent harris hawk experience for 3/4 hour. Just the two of us and and the keeper. Had the hawk land on our hand about 5 times each. Includes entry to the falconry which is much bigger and better than expected - loads of birds including owls and vultures, and meercats, skunks, racoons and ferrets, all great enclosures and well looked after. Lovely flight demonstration show too - not just falcon - little owl, kookaburra and running/jumping seriema too. By a garden centre with cafe. Superb!!

A Great Experience
We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful experience, Our guide was very informative and friendly and gave us many opportunities to see the beautiful Harrier Hawk up close. Would recommend to anyone.
