What happens on the day?
Arriving 15 minutes prior to tour departure at The Globe, you'll be warmly welcomed by the staff. Embark on a 50 minute guided tour, with colourful stories of the 1599 Globe, the reconstruction process in the 1990s and how the building works today as an imaginative and experimental theatre space. Please note the Globe is a working theatre and therefore, tour times vary due to performance schedules or sometimes take place during rehearsals.
On arrival at The Swan at The Globe you’ll be greeted and shown to your pre-booked table. Soak up the stunning surroundings whilst tucking into an array of sweet and savoury treats including finger sandwiches, scones, pastries and cakes.

Availability
Shakespeare’s Globe is open on selected dates all year round. Some date exclusions, such as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day may apply. Please contact the Shakespeare’s Globe Ticketing & Sales Team, who will be able to provide you with up to date opening hours and tour times.

1 to 14 November: Closed so there will be no tours available

Shakespeare’s Globe is a working theatre, tour times may vary due to performance schedules or sometimes take place during rehearsals (giving you an exclusive look at the rehearsal process!). Your tour guide will transport you back to Elizabethan London highlighting interesting historical landmarks of the area.
Afternoon Tea at The Swan takes place seven days a week throughout the year. Some date exclusions may apply.
Monday to Saturday: 12.00 - 18.00
Sunday: 12.00 - 17.00
We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 1 hour for the tour with an addition 2 hours to enjoy the afternoon tea.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
