What happens on the day?
On arrival to The Grand in York, you’ll be welcomed and shown through to The Rise Restaurant where you will take your afternoon tea experience. Once settled at your table, you’ll be served your delicious selection of sweet and savoury delights. You’ll have the option to upgrade to a Prosecco, Champagne, or Gin afternoon tea.

Your experience can be booked seven days a week, between 12.00 and 15.45. Date exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

We were bought the afternoon tea experience as a gift. What a place! wonderful staff, amazing and I mean amazing food. With not going abroad for the last 2 years things like thing are more meaningful. We will go back again on the run up to Christmas to try the festive menu. It is superb. If in doubt, don't be, it really is very very good.
