What happens on the day?
Your gin and tonic masterclass will be led by Skylon’s experienced mixologist; you’ll get to grips with the history and heritage of gin as you enjoy three gin samples, each paired with an appropriate tonic. Learn about the nuances and delicacy of tonics, and how to enhance the flavour with homemade tonics.
Afterwards, enjoy a delicious three-course lunch from a set menu in Skylon’s elegant Grill restaurant.
Please note you may be participating with other guests on the day. Lunch bookings are not grouped.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Really lovely day
Lunch with Gin Experience at Skyline was lovely. Nice set lunch followed by a Gin experience, which we were told about the history or Gin and got to try a number of gins and a gin and peach snaps cocktail. For gin lovers this is a great experience, but there is a lot of gin to get through in an hour with three double gins prepared with different, mixers; as a gift great value for money and in a lovely setting over looking the Thames. Would highly recommend.

Very enjoyable experience
We really enjoyed our Gin tasting experience, didn’t know what to expect but Sebastian was great from giving us a history of gin, to mixing gin and tasting different varieties. We then had a lovely lunch after overlooking the river.

Just the tonic after Covid
An informative talk of the origins and history of gin. Sebastien was very knowledgable and made the experience fun! The 3 course meal was enjoyable and all the staff were very friendly and professional. A day to remember.

Fabulous day - we loved it.
The gin masterclass was so informative and interesting with the opportunity to taste at least three gins. The 3 course lunch was also fabulous. This experience is really good value. I would go again.

Gin Lovers Tasting Lunch at the Skylon
Excellent!! Silvan the Mixologist was superb and we learnt a great deal. The Skylon team were marvellous even to the point of arranging a cab to take us back home all the way to Bookham in Surrey.

Lovely experience
We amended the original experience to a gin tasting & lunch. Very informative talk about gins as a whole, & tasted various gins & mixers. The waiter was quite knowledgeable. Our lunch was very nice, food tasty & hot.

Great day out
I bought this experience for my best friends birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The young chap that took us through the 3 different gins was very knowledgable about all gins not just the ones we were sampling. After the gin tasting we had a 3 course lunch, which was part of the package. Really lovely food and the staff were great. This was a great day, well worth the money.

Fantastic gin tasting and 3 course lunch!
Gin tasting was really interesting, I leatned things I had no idea about gin. Lunch was lovely too- had guinea fowl, salmon & brownie. So yummy! Lovely river view too!!! Highly recommend!

If you like gin...
This was a great experience that I received for Xmas. Skylon is a great venue with lovely views across the Thames from Royal Festival Hall. We turned the experience backwards and had the three course lunch first at 1pm followed by the Gin tasting at 3pm. The set menu was small, but good choices. Service was fantastic and the gin experience, with 4 gins, very informative and good fun. We shared the experience with 2 other couples, fortunately they were good fun!

Great experience!
Given a very interesting introduction to the history of gin and its different types - by an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable person. Enjoyed sampling the different gins. Followed by an excellent 3-course lunch. Friendly and efficient service. Well worth it!

Wonderful time @ Skylon
We had a gin tasting experience at Skylon with lunch. I honestly can't fault it, we had the most wonderful time. We were utterly spoilt and enjoyed each moment and tasting. The gins were explained to us in a fun and interesting way, we were made to feel special and were very well looked after. Each member of staff worked to a very high standard and were attentive and knowledgable, making the experience feel luxurious. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. All in all a great day !

Good fun and informative
We really enjoyed our gin experience and lunch at Skylon. Alex our barman was cheerful and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about the history of gin as well as how it is made in a relaxed and lovely setting.

Gin Tasting
Can't fault this, the Gin tasting was great with a mindful of information from a very attentive bar man called Alex he was full of information and the gins were very good and more to the point he new how to serve them. The meal was fantastic I would go again just for that. The staff were very friendly helpful and attentive, great customer service. The view acoss the thames was exceptional. In all this was an experance to remeber.

Excellent Day
This was a gift from our son and what a grand day out it was, even the weather played ball. The talk given by Marco about gin, its origins and history, was well delivered and we learned some interesting facts. The lunch was delicious and our waiter, by coincidence also called Marco, was helpful and friendly. The Skylon was a well appointed venue and all the staff were excellent, friendly and courteous. A most enjoyable experience.

Excellent fun. Well worth it.
Wasn't too sure what to expect as bought as a birthday present for my Husband and I from our daughter. We both absolutely loved it. Our mixologist Andre, was informative, interesting and fun. The Gins tasted were excellent. Great fun. Lunch after was delicious with a lovely view of London.

An excellent day out.
This was given to us as a present,and what alovely day we had.The gin tasting was fun and gave us a few new ideas. The food was excellent and enjoyed in lovely surroundings and atmosphere.I would highly recommend this to any of my family or friends.

Great Bar and venue
The gin tasting was exceptional. The Baristas knowledge was first class. The restaurant food was exceptional, the presentation was equally outstanding and to make the experience special - the waiters and staff were exemplary. My wife is vegan - and she was made very happy - in fact so happy she wants to go again! The only slight issue is that there are some stairs (even after the lift) up to the restaurant which may be a problem for the disabled.

Amazing!
The staff were brilliant. The gentleman that provided the gin masterclass was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. The food, well what can I say - it was out of this world. The confit chicken starter was one of the best things my husband and myself have ever eaten! All of the food was amazing , but that confit chicken was exceptional!

Great afternoon
Great afternoon at the Skylon for the Gin Tasting and 3 course lunch. Ignacio( Nacho) was fantastic with his presentation on the Gin and the botanicals and the lunch was very tasty and filling. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

Gun tasting and lunch - highly recommended
Started the lunch with a excellent gin tasting that was done by Ciprian who was honestly one of the best people for the job! He was very knowledgeable and even wrote everything he down down for us to remember which gins went with which tonics. Lunch was excellent aswell with great service and food but they did forget to bring the chips ( would have been too full to finish it all anyway so doesn’t matter) Well done skylon and especially Ciprian

Fantastic experience for a birthday treat
Thinking we’d just be sampling 3 Gins, we had 4 full measures of various G&T’s plus an extra sample of a Gin of our choice on too. We then transferred to our table for our 3 course lunch where the waiter brought all our various Gins over. The meal was second to non, The staff very attentive and the location spectacular. A very enjoyable afternoon.

Better than expected
A lovely day more than we expected with the history of the origins of gin . I think the man who done the tasting name was Chico or near that was brilliant as he had to contend with aloud group of ladies from a nearby table otherwise it was a brilliant day would thoroughly recommend it especially to gin lovers
