Grab a friend and head to Simpsons Gin Bar for this Gin Tasting Experience for Two.
With the guidance of our fabulous team of industry professionals, the two of you will learn about the history of gin, its origins and gain a fascinating insight into the distillation and botanicals used for each of the selection of gins being tasted. You’ll be treated to five full single measures of unique G&Ts each as you use tasting notes to understand the variations.
Alongside your gins, the two of you can enjoy a shared mini platter of nibbles consisting of continental meats, cheeses, breads, crackers and pickle. You’ll also receive a £5 voucher each to use the next time you come into the bar, whether that’s against another gin, beers, wines, cocktails or more.

What happens on the day?
On arrival you’ll meet your fellow gin connoisseurs before embarking on your masterclass. Under the guidance of a gin expert, the two of you will discover the origins and history of gin and learn about the distilling process, before enjoying five full single measures of G&Ts each. You’ll enjoy a mini platter of nibbles consisting of continental meats, cheeses, breads, crackers and pickle. To top things off, the two of you will be given £5 vouchers to be used against any other drink at your next visit to the bar.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 18
- Street level access is available from the front door but there are access limitations to toilets
- Vegetarian diets can be catered for
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary but quality levels will always be maintained
Availability
This experience is run at 19.00 on Thursday evenings and 15.00 on Saturday afternoons, twice per month throughout the year. Dates will vary and excluded dates may apply.
There is a minimum requirement of 6 participants in each event but a maximum of 16.
We recommend you book at least two weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for the full experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
