Grab a fellow gin-lover and join Jenever’s lovely bartenders for the ultimate gin tasting experience. You’ll be talked through a brief history of Jenever and learn about some of their unique gins, discussing the perfect serve for each. There’ll be a bit about how to palette your G&Ts with tonics and garnishes, before getting down to the serious business of tasting each delicious variation.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Jenever, you’ll meet the friendly team and get down to the best gin tasting in town.
You’ll learn about the gins, the perfect serve and try four different G&Ts.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 18
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Your voucher is valid for six months from the issue date.
The experience takes place on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday any time and Friday/ Saturday before 18.00. Exclusions may apply
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes for the full experience
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A delightful experience
On arrival at Jenever Gin Bar we were shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff. The table was already prepared for our visit with a delicious plate of fruit and herbs to enhance the flavour of the accompanying gin. All in all a delightful experience!

Great Little Present.
My wife bought this for my birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed it.I normally drink beer but I do enjoy a gin . The venue was very inviting and the staff were helpful and informative and the table laid out already with a selection of gins and garnishes. Overall a very enjoyable experience and definitely one I would repeat.Thankyou.

Nice little venue, good variety of Gin
On arrival was shown to table downstairs with Gins, tonics and various garnish set out. A bucket of ice was promptly brought over. A brief explanation of the process then left with card explaining the gins and best way to mix etc. Really nice gin, especially the rhubarb and ginger one. Great little venue, quiet and cosy. Reasonable price too as we purchased an extra gin after the tasting. No rush for us to leave our table or anything. Overall really good.

Gin Tasting
Excellent gin tasting experience. Had a lovely afternoon at the Jeniva bar in Hope Street. This was bought as a Christmas present for my Aunty.The gin’s chosen were lovely and we enjoyed them all. Would definitely recommend this experience for anyone who was looking for a present for a gin lover!

A fabulous evening
My wife and I were given a Virgin voucher for a gin tasting, however there wasn’t anything that was advertised at virgin that was local and open but we exchanged our voucher for a Sunday lunch at a lovely pub in Formby and a gin tasting at jenever in Liverpool, our gin tasting evening was fabulous the staff lovely, games on the tables meant that whilst tasting some wonderful gin we also played cards and had a really great night. Jenever is an amazing place we loved it .

Great afternoon out
Tge Jenever Gin tasting experiwnce is a great way to spend an afternoon and great value for money. 4 lively flavoured gins and flavoured tonics. A short talk from a member of staff on the different gins then you left to enjoy them at your pace. Throughly enjoyed the experience

Great experience!
It was great to be able to make the gins yourself with the suggested garnishes and tonics and drink these at your own pace. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the bar itself was lovely and in a great location in Liverpool. Overall, a really good experience.

Excellent
This was booked for my daughter and my mum as a mothers day treat. They both enjoyed themselves very much and was impressed with the whole experience. Must mention the fact that they said the service and attitude of the girls there was excellent. Thanks for a great treat. Would definitely recommend, in fact they're thinking of rebooking :-)

A great way to spend the afternoon!
This was a present and I took a fellow gin loving friend with me. The Jenever is a cute little bar close to the RC cathedral on Hope Street and we were warmly greeted by the two friendly young ladies on duty that Sunday afternoon. Everything needed was already laid out on our table and looked inviting. After an explanation of the procedure we were left to enjoy ourselves and had a lovely time drinking different gins and chatting. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we discovered a new favourite gin!

Excellent experience
The gin tasting at Jenever was so much better than I expected! It was all set up when we arrived and the bar staff briefed us on each gin, tonic & garnish before leaving us to relax and enjoy each gin at our own pace. The gins were excellent and we’d definitely recommend this experience.

The perfect tonic (and Gin)
Jenever Gin Bar is a little gem of a place, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the gins, you actually realise you don't just put a wedge of lime in your drink, the Nettle gin for me was the best.

Great day out
My son bought this for me. It was a wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon in Liverpool. It was very well organised and went like clockwork. The gin was wonderful and it was great to be able to team it up with the correct garnishes and tonic. All in all a great experience.

Very enjoyable afternoon
My and friend and I were booked for 2.30. we were the only ones there being so early. It was nice having the room to ourselves. The staff were lovely and very informative. We had a great time sampling the gins. It is a well run operation. Would recommend.

Jenever Gin tasting
Our son bought this experience for us as we both enjoy G&T. The staff at Jenever were very informative, friendly and helpful. Our table and tasters were ready as we arrived and everything was explained thoroughly. All the gins (4) were good quality and all nice with ice, tonics and fruit to pair with them. Our only criticism would be that only one bottle of tonic per couple was provided - we felt we needed one each, but that’s just our taste I guess? Would recommend as a nice treat.

Fab Afternoon!
This was a birthday gift to my husband, he thoroughly enjoyed it, as did I, although I’m not a gin drinker, but it was good way to sample them. Lovely little place, 5 mins from city centre in a taxi, if you’re not sure where it is. Games & stuff to do on the table, plenty of chat with the staff, who were lovely. The gin, of which there was plenty, was really good. Different flavours, plus tonics & fruits, all made for a pleasant experience, we had a fab afternoon & we would highly recommend.

Gin tasting was fab!
This was given to us over a year ago from my son and his girlfriend for my husbands birthday. We paid £20 to extend the voucher and finally booked it this year for his birthday! We had a brilliant time. The staff were lovely, the gins were lovely, only problem we had was that we sat near the window and there was a real draught coming in and we were freezing. It was a really good experience and would recommend it to anyone, just don't sit near the window!

An amazing experience
I didn’t know what to expect when booking this experience, I was worried it would be very regimented. However, me and my boyfriend had the best evening drinking some amazing gins and playing connect four and cards! We were able to relax and the staff were all really lovely and welcoming. Had so much fun and found my fun favourite gin!

Really nice place would go again
