Over the past 300 years, the tradition of taking tea has formed an integral part of life at Fortnum & Mason, and now you and a lucky guest can experience this iconic British treat by taking Afternoon Tea in Fortnum’s elegant Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon.
Opened by HM The Queen, the Tea Salon has established itself as one of London’s most stylish destinations. During your visit, you’ll be served a host of sweet and savoury delights, from traditional finger sandwiches to exquisite cakes and freshly-baked scones served with clotted cream and Fortnum’s preserves.
Expert ‘Tearistas’ will also be on hand to advise you on which tea is right for you from the incredible range of signature blends, single-estate and infusion teas – before you toast the occasion in style with a glass of Champagne.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Fortnum & Mason, you’ll be greeted, before going through to the stylish Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon.
Once seated, your ‘tearista’ will help you decide on the perfect tea for you from the extensive menu. Your superb selection of sweet and savoury treats will be served with a chilled glass of Champagne.

Availability
This experience is available Monday to Friday from 11.30 to 19.00 throughout the year.
We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow up to 2 hours to enjoy for afternoon tea.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Enjoyed a really good afternoon tea here yesterday. The service was faultless and the food very tasty. Was a bit sceptical about the price at first and paying near enough £75 for some sandwiches and cakes but everything, except the champagne, is refillable and we left feeling it was decent value for money, considering the establishment.
