Head back to nature with a 3 hour foraging course for your own private group of up to six with Totally Wild. Whether you're complete beginners or want to deepen your knowledge, this walk is the perfect way to learn all about wild food.
You and your fellow adventurers will join a professional forager to learn the art of foraging covering the basics and discovering the vast range of wild edibles lying all around us. During the walk, you'll find out what exciting wild foods are growing nearby from flowers to fruits, fungi, seawood and more. Along the way you’ll be given tips on harvesting, correct identification and possible look-alikes.
You'll have an opportunity to taste a range of pre-made wild food tasters from syrups, flavoured salts and alcohol infusions. Whether you fancy coastal or inland foraging, just pick a date and location from our list. A group outing with a difference!

What happens on the day?
You can enjoy your private, 3 hour course with up to five friends or family members, at one of the many foraging locations. Whether you’re interested in foraging at a local park or heading to a coastal beauty spot, there's something for everyone.
Enter the mindset of foragers as you head out with a professional to discover the array of wild edibles that exist all around us. You’ll learn the rules of general foraging and plenty of tips on how to identify what’s edible, as well as uses for plants, fungi and seaweeds. Along the way you’ll be able to enjoy delicious samples, too.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
