Kicking things off with a 30 minute briefing, your professional pilot instructor will talk you through everything you need to know to get the most out of your experience. Once you’re ready for action, you’ll enjoy 30 minutes in each of the three commercial simulators – the Boeing 747, the Boeing 737 and the Airbus A320.
With high resolution imagery and professional ‘collimated’ displays, it’s so realistic that you’ll forget you’re not in an actual aeroplane.

What happens on the day?
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your booked flight time. The session will start with a 30 minute briefing with your professional instructor, covering anything you need to know and offering an opportunity for you to ask any burning questions. Then, it’s on to the main event – 30 minutes in each of the three simulators: the Boeing 747, the Boeing 737 and the Airbus A320.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 12
- Minimum height: 5ft
- Wheelchair access is available on the Boeing 747
- The Boeing 737 can accommodate up to 2 spectators and the Airbus A320 up to 4. Spectators are charged at £10 each and can take part in the briefing and then board the aircraft to watch the fun. Spectators under 14 are not charged but must be accompanied by another paying observer of over 16 years of age (not the pilot)

Availability
The experience is available Wednesday to Saturday between 09.30 and 18.00 during winter months and 09.00 to 190.0 in the summer months. Certain days may be pre-allocated for professional training and corporate functions.
We recommend you book at least two weeks in advance to ensure dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 3 hours for your experience. You will need to arrive 45 minutes before your alloted flight time to check in and you will have a 30 minute before each flight.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
