This informal workshop is rich in expert advice and tricks of the trade. The session starts with an introduction taking you through the essentials of flower arranging from choosing the perfect flowers and colour palette, to how to keep your blooms in tip top condition. You will also look at contemporary and traditional styles and are given expert advice on how to make a hand-tied bouquet. What happens on the day?
You will be greeted by your florist for the day and join your class to get started. After a briefing and discussion on several flower arranging principles the step-by-step demonstration will begin.
It’s then your turn to get creative whilst the experienced team are along side to assist you. With beautiful wrapping available to finish off your creations you are sure to leave with an impressive bouquet you can enjoy at home. After the session you are welcome to admire one another’s masterpieces over a cup of tea and delicious cake - what a treat.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 12 (under 18s need to be accompanied by a paying adult)
- There are no disabled facilities and stairs are involved when arriving at the venue

Availability
The experience takes place on selected Saturday and Sunday mornings from February to December.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for the whole experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
