Overview
Enjoy a truly unique sail aboard the only catamaran on the East Coast of Scotland with this half day sailing session for two in the Firth of Forth.
Meet your RYA Yachtmaster who’ll introduce you to the day’s vessel. Sip down a cup of tea or coffee before departing the harbour and hitting the water. As you sail out, you’ll pass under the world-famous Forth Rail Bridge. Built in the 1890s, the bridge is considered one of the preeminent engineering feats of the Victorian era. Keep an eye out for the local seals and views of the Edinburgh skyline as you cruise around the islands of Inchgarvie, Inchcolm and Inchmickery, before making your way back to Port Edgar Marina. Sit back and relax or get a little more hands-on, with the option to take the helm alongside your skipper as you sail down the Forth.
A memorable experience for sailing fans looking to try something different or for anyone who fancies a taste of life on-board an amazing catamaran.

Great afternoon out.
Sailed Forth under Rail Bridge, past Inchcolm and back before passing under the two remaining bridges. A warm September day, still water and a breeze. We sailed using the engines only a little. Very smooth on the catamaran and no need to go ‘indoors’. Toilet facilities available. Due to COVID-19 regulations no food or drink. You could steer the boat. The crew of two, Colin and Harry were friendly, pleasant, and sociable and also knowledgeable. A great afternoon to get away from it all.

Great afternoon sailing
A catamaran suitable for 10 people was a nice size. Weather dry but almost windless meaning we had to motor- it was still very peaceful and the two crew were helpful, friendly and informative!

We had a wonderful afternoon The crew were very friendly. Helping everyone who wanted to take the wheel. Finding the wind so we were under sail for the entire time. I would do it again without hesitation

Lovely day for a sail
Great experience sailing down the Forth in a beautiful catamaran. Very relaxed captain let us take the helm and taught us some of the rudiments of sailing. It was great seeing the shores of the river from a different aspect.

Well organised, safe, friendly, lovely boat. Welcomed those who wanted to participate in actually sailing. Good cup of tea! Enjoyed it despite dreadful weather. An interesting, fun experience day. Thanks to our son and girlfriend for a great gift.
