“Fantastic Sail Catamaran Experience”
My wife and I had a great experience sailing on the Firth of Forth with Skipper Colin, Mate Forrester and the other 3 guests having a Virgin sail experience. Seeing the structure of the Forth Bridge from the water was just amazing. The wind was poor and therefore it was difficult to make good headway under sail however, the skipper worked hard to show us places of interest. On the way back to our birth we ran into a thunder and lightning storm which was quite dramatic. A Great Memorable day.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Port Edgar Marina, you’ll meet your RYA Yachtmaster, who’ll show you on board and tell you all about your boat over a cup of tea and coffee. Once everyone’s ready to go, it’s time to hit the water; beginning with an awe-inspiring journey under the Forth Rail Bridge, you’ll then circumnavigate the nearby islands, reaching as far as Inchkeith, before heading back to Port Edgar Marina.
If you fancy it, you can try your hand at taking the helm, or alternatively just relax and take in the views from aboard your luxury voyager.
Bring a packed lunch, as you’ll anchor at some point during the day to take a rest and enjoy some food.
Please note that you will usually be taken out on the catamaran, unless a guest specifically requests the monohull. You will be informed of the boat you will be on the week prior to your experience.
