The Silverstone Interactive Museum is an immersive visitor attraction which celebrates the past, present and future of Silverstone and British motor racing. Over 60 hands-on exhibits give visitors the opportunity to try out a variety of activities.
In addition to the hands-on fun, the museum features some of the most iconic cars and bikes that have played a part in the 70-year history of Silverstone including Mansell’s iconic “Red 5”, an E.R.A from the first ever Grand Prix and Barry Sheene’s 1979 Suzuki motorbike.
Kids will be able to climb into a replica Grand Prix car, practice their skills as an RAF pilot and try commentating on a race. A thrilling immersive film show – the ultimate lap of Silverstone – brings together some of the circuit’s most famous racing moments and is the perfect way to round off each visit. There’s something for the whole family to enjoy!

“‘The greatest day of my life’ -Douglas (8)”
We brought this voucher for our formula 1 obsessed son, Douglas. When asked to describe the day he said ‘it was better than Disney’ and as a huge Disney fan family that was a BOLD statement but I don’t blame him for making that comment. I am not a huge formula 1 fan..... I tolerate it because I have to..... but Even I was amazed by the activities and attention to detail in the museum. Every member of staff were beyond helpful and friendly and we couldn’t recommend it more!

What happens on the day?
On arrival you’ll be welcomed and shown through to the beginning of The Silverstone Interactive Museum. This brand-new, family-friendly attraction offers the chance to experience the history of British motor racing like never before. With state-of-the-art technology, interactive displays and iconic cars to see, there’s something to appeal to every age range here.
Your experience will culminate in an unforgettable immersive show. Experience what it’s like to be amongst the fast and the furious with a ‘lap’ around Silverstone, surrounded by iconic cars and motor racing heroes. A real adventure, it’s the perfect way to end a brilliant family outing on a high.
There is a full procedure to ensure that guests safety comes first, including regular cleaning, one way systems & individually stylus’s for each guest so that you can enjoy the touch screens technology safely.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

We had a great time here with the added bonus of a Ferrari Challenge Cup. Very interesting displays, lots of interaction ( with staff sanitising constantly) and some great memorabilia.
