One of only six producers who can make the geographically protected Melton Mowbray Pork Pie, Brockleby’s offers a friendly, authentic setting for you to create this world-famous treat.
After a welcome snack on a Melton Mowbray pork pie, you’ll have a short talk on the history of the iconic pie, learning how it went from the staple food of servants to the tables of the aristocracy. Then it’s time to hand-raise your own, before heading home with your finished creations, ready to bake, show off and tuck in.

What happens on the day?
Kick things off with a welcome snack of Melton Mowbray pork pie, before getting a lowdown on its history and enjoying a full demonstration.
New knowledge at the ready, you’ll get hands-on to raise your very own Melton Mowbray pork pie each, before taking them home to bake and enjoy.

Availability
The experience takes place on regular Monday evenings 18.30 to 20.30, throughout the year. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
