East London Liquor Company Spirit of Gin Tour and Tasting
About this experience
The Spirit of Gin Tour and Tasting at East London Liquor Company will take you on a voyage through the astonishing world of gin, from its ruinous past to its modern-day revival. Distilling since 2014, East London Liquor Company is located in Bow Wharf where they produce their gins, all highlighting botanicals from across the globe.
Gin and tonic in hand, you will head behind the bar into the distillery to see how their gin is made and hear the shocking stories of gin’s dark history. From there, you will visit the tasting room for a led tasting starting with three of East London Liquor Company’s own gins, followed by three contrasting gins.

“Relaxed, informative and good fun ”
Lovely venue All staff really polite and helpful Tour guide , Rose, was really good Chance to see process and learn about how gin made Then to try 6 gins - really talked us through the process and has ingredients there to smell too Ate in restaurant after and the selection of small plates was gorgeous
“Informative and enjoyable”
I waited a year (and had to extend my voucher)to finally get a time we could both go, but it was a fun time, the experience was very interesting, just enough education combined with interesting fun facts (the ones you usually remember) about history of gin making and the logistics of it. Fascinating tasting afterwards which really surprised me regarding vastly different flavours.
