Downton Abbey London Locations Walking Tour for Two
About this experience
Take a walk on the aristocratic side of life with a Downton Abbey London Locations Walking Tour. See world-famous sites and wander the quaint historic streets where the award-winning TV series came to life.
You’ll follow your guide to some of the capital’s best bits that have also stood in for Liverpool and Manchester. Get closer to the filming locations that helped define the Downton world, and hear behind-the-scenes insights and anecdotes about how the show was made.
See the exterior of Grantham House; where Lady Rose throws all caution to the wind for a date with jazz singer, Jack Ross; stand where Branson first confesses his love to Lady Sybil. Relive the tension as you follow in the footsteps of Anna as she retraces Bates’s movements in London, and the path followed by Edith when she discovers she is expecting Gregson’s baby. A must-do for any fans of the show.

“Downton and all over town!”
15000 steps over 3 hours during which we were both entertained and informed by the excellent Eva the Norwegian. Each location was put in context through Eva's descriptions and attendant stills of the series, and this was enhanced by her knowledge and history of the buildings and locations themselves. A great day out but wear comfy shoes and pack a bottle of water. Thank you Eva.

“Interesting and informative”
My husband and I joined 27 fellow enthusiastic Downton Abbey fans for a London tour. Our lovely guide Lottie was engaging, enthusiastic and full of great knowledge. We had the chance to walk areas of London which we'd not normally visit as well as learning new knowledge on well known landmarks. Thoroughly enjoyable and can't wait to book our next walk.
“Great experience”
Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable which made the tour very interesting. The locations we visited gave you an insight into the programme from the other side of the lens. Very very good tour.
