Following an introductory briefing, the two of you will kick the adventure off with a short scenic walk to the top of the Glen. With exclusive attention from the Expert Adventure Leaders, they’ll talk you through the equipment before leading a fun practice in a safe area to allow you to practice your canyoning skills.

Choosing an action pace that suits you, you’ll descend the canyon, wild swimming through hidden pools and under waterfalls. Whether you choose to jump, slide or abseil down, you’ll feel an unbeatable adrenaline rush. Once at the bottom, you’ll take a short hike back and end the experience with some homemade snacks and a well-earned drink. This promises to be the perfect day out for all.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at either 09:30 for the morning session or 13:30 for the afternoon session, you’ll be warmly welcomed and briefed, before making your way to the top of the Glen. The team will give you a full explanation of the equipment, before giving you the opportunity to practice your canyoning skills in a safe section of the glen. Once you’re ready to continue, you’ll descend the Canyon, wild swimming through hidden pools and under waterfalls. The action will be entirely tailored to you as you have the choice to jump, slide or abseil your way down. Once at the bottom of the Glen, you’ll take a short hike back to the meeting point for some tasty homemade snacks and a well-earned soft drink, beer or hot drink. The session will finish at 13:30 for the morning session or 17:30 for the afternoon.

Guests are provided with wetsuits and shoes (within a certain range).

Participant guidelines

Minimum age: 12 (Under 18s need to be accompanied by a legal guardian)
Guests must fit into the wetsuits provided (sizes XXXS to XXXL)
Guests with a shoe size larger than UK 12 or smaller than UK 4 are advised to bring their own footwear. Old trainers are perfect
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.

This experience takes place seven days a week throughout the year. Excluded dates will apply.

We recommend you book at least 1 week in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
