Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting for Two at Kerry Vale Vineyard
About this experience
Head to a corner of Shropshire for a delightful day of touring and tasting at the family-run Kerry Vale Vineyard, and learn all about British-made wine and award-winning vintages with a friend by your side with this Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting for Two.
Fittingly conceived back in 2010 over a glass or two of wine, the six acre Kerry Vale vineyard has since grown to include over 6,000 vines. You’ll get down to the task of grape and site discovery, going all the way back to Roman times with a surprising amount of history!
After that you’ll learn the art of wine tasting sampling four tasty English wines, savouring the flavour profiles and comparing tasting notes across five simple steps with your tour companions. Before heading home why not enjoy a locally sourced lunch and a glass of fine wine in the on-site cafe, toasting your newfound knowledge and possibly piquing your interest in visiting the cellar door shop!

A lovely vineyard cultivated on the site of a Roman Fort. Excellent tour guide who tells the whole process from start to finish of how this place came to be. Warts and all, the sheer hard work involved is tiring to hear! Great slide show showing the process if wine making and the tasting is fun and delicious.

“Kerry Vale Vineyard Tour”
What a lovely experience. Family run business. Lovely wine. Good knowledge of the Roman fort too. Great morning at the vineyard
“Thoroughly enjoyable and informative”
The tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable on any questions asked to him about growing and brewing. The wine tasting was also really good. Can't say I'll be adopting all the wine tasting tips but it was fun to learn the steps.
