Spend some time with a loved one or friend, catching up over an afternoon tea for two at one of the most famous hotels in Harrogate. With an interesting history dating back to almost 200 years, The Old Swan Hotel was home to Agatha Christie during the 11 days in 1926 when she mysteriously disappeared.
With five acres of splendid gardens and a short walk from the town centre why not do some exploring whilst you are visiting? Your afternoon tea will consist of a selection of finger sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream and cakes served with tea or coffee.

“Delightful Afternoon Tea”
Although I live in Harrogate it was a pleasure to take afternoon tea and catch up with a friend in the beautiful lounge at The Old Swan Hotel which is steeped in literary history. We thoroughly enjoyed the selection of sandwiches you choose from the menu and the cakes were divine. Polite, efficient service in a quiet setting. If visiting the location is also excellent for town centre. A relaxing experience that I would recommend.

What happens on the day?
On your arrival at reception, you will be greeted by a friendly member of the team and will be shown to the Swan Lounge and Bar.
A selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, scones with cream and preserves as well as a choice of tea or coffee will be served as the two of you catch-up and enjoy a relaxing afternoon together.

This experience is available seven days a week throughout the year, excluding Christmas, New Year and Valentines.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for your tea.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

What a lovely time. The Old Swan had a wonderful quiet relaxing atmosphere. The lounge was nicely decorated, with quiet seasonal music playing in the back ground. The waiter was professional and friendly and the actual tea was superb, well presented and nicely proportioned.
