David Bowie London Walking Tour for Two
About this experience
Follow in the footsteps of one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century with this David Bowie London Walking Tour for Two.
Beginning in Bowie’s hometown of Brixton, you’ll see the house where he was born and his dedicated memorial. Uncover the sites where fans gathered to mourn his passing, venues where he performed and the locations of Bowie-themed parties. After a short tube ride (not included as part of your ticket), explore buzzing Soho where Bowie partied, performed and made his name.
During the tour you’ll hear anecdotes and trivia about David Bowie and visit spots that featured on his album covers. The tour stops outside many of Soho’s legendary music venues such as the studio where he recorded two of his albums, and Denmark Street, aka Tin Pan Alley, where Bowie allegedly lived. The tour finishes at Tottenham Court Road, with the option to walk back to Soho or visit David Bowie’s favourite pub, which will be pointed out to you during the tour.
