About this experience
Enter the offices of evil startup Neosight and defeat their AI technology to help humanity from extinction with this Save Humanity: Cocktail Infused Escape Room for Two at The Grid.
During the 1 hour 30 minute experience, you’ll take on brain-scrambling puzzles and tasks with a group of fellow explorers, journeying through multiple rooms and posing as a volunteer to help them program their machines. Make sure no one knows you’re undercover – you never know who (or what) you might come across! Thirsty work doesn’t go unrewarded, so The Grid have brought along ‘bespoke tech and futuristic tonics’ to create a selection of sci-fi cocktails, two of which you can enjoy as you go.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at the escape room, you’ll join the secret undercover operation.
Operate Artificial Intelligence tools, drink futuristic sci-fi potions, and eventually defeat the system for the betterment of humanity’s future in this fantastic 1 hour 30 minutes of fun!
Please note that as you're a team of two, you'll be completing the experience alongside other guests - more hands on deck means more chance to defeat the machines!

- Minimum age: 18
- Pregnant ladies must make themselves known to a member of staff - please mention when making your booking and on arrival
- Alcohol free cocktails are available on request
- The Grid involves some physical activity and may not be suitable for everyone. The Grid is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for people with limited mobility (due to the fact that there is a slide that's part of the game and gives access to the second room). Please get in touch with us if they have any concerns on this regard
- Maximum number of participants in a group: 8 (This can be other members of the public)

Availability
The experience runs Tuesday to Friday 17.00 to 21.15 and Saturdays 13.00 to 22.15. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes for the full experience. Please ensure you arrive on time - latecomers will not be allowed to enter the Grid and will forfeit their experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

“Coulsdon Manor and Golf Club”
Stayed Saturday night with DBB. A gift from our friends. Near Purley and Mayfield's Lavender Farm. Can be tricky to find. Great hotel, friendly staff and good food and service. Bar open 24 hours but credit card details required on booking if you want to drink use bar after 11 pm. Lift and disabled facilities (ask). Great golf course/scenery. Good room (110). A mix of old and new. Recommended.

Hotel was nice but a bit run down and need some TLC. The staff were pleasant but it just seemed like it was everyone's first day and no one knew what they were doing. Food was good though!
“Disappointment in every sense”
After having our wedding reception at Coulsdon Manor we thought using a one night experience voucher gift there would be a great way to reminisce. How wrong we could have been! For a start the hotel reception was freezing due to a broken window, but the bar (only entertainment), was out of action for refit and the make shift restaurant bar was awful, so uncomfortable! The room was dirty, shabby and broken. The grounds looked unkept and all the communal decor was the same from 2004! Very poor!
