Serving as the British government command centre throughout WWII, imagine what it was like to coordinate war efforts there before exploring the life of the British statesman Winston Churchill in the dedicated biographical museum. What happens on the day?
On arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed and taken to Wellington Barracks where the team will demonstrate the structured organisation of the Changing of the Guard ceremony. After visiting the barracks, head to the Guards Museum to explore its numerous exhibitions including 10 original Victoria Cross medals and the Guards Chapel. After a lunch at a traditional pub, the final stop is the Churchill War Room where you can explore the home of the British command centre during WWII and the museum dedicated to Winston Churchill.
