Head out onto 100 acres of beautiful Ribble Valley countryside and learn the finer art of trial riding, with a Children’s Trial Bike Experience for one.
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get started! Your experience is specially geared towards younger riders, and with expert tuition from fully qualified instructors who’ve competed at national level, you’re in the right hands to get the most out of your two-hour off-road adventure. Get to grips with your electric trial bike with some introductory training, before taking on different sections and challenges, riding through and over varying terrain. Finish the day with refreshments and head home buzzing with the excitement of your new skills!

What happens on the day?
On arrival, you’ll need to head into the shop, where you’ll sign in and get kitted up. You’ll begin with some beginner’s training, doing figures of 8 on your bike to make sure your body position is correct.
Once you’re feeling confident, you’ll advance on to various sections, each one getting more challenging as the day progresses. Enjoy expert tuition throughout from fully qualified instructors, who’ll make sure you get the most out of your experience, before rounding off with refreshments.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 6
- Maximum age: 12
- To comply with training guidelines, parents or guardians must remain on-site for the duration of the training in case of emergency
- No experience is necessary
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
The experience is available on selected dates March to September only. Exclusions may apply.
A typical session runs 09.00 to 11.00, 11.30 to 13.30 or 14.00 to 16.00 with arrival 30 minutes prior to start time.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
Please ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of the experience.
There is an optional damage waiver of £15 which can be obtained on the day.

I absolutely loved riding the Trial Bike. I was very scared but so excited. I was quite wobbly at first but the instructor helped me feel confident and by the end of the season I was riding it all by myself.
