Maintaining many of its original features from the 1880s this elegant baronial mansion, Grinkle Park, is the ideal place to indulge in a traditional afternoon tea for two.
Nestled between the North Yorkshire Moors and the superb north east coast, Grinkle Park Hotel, in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, has all the atmosphere of a Victorian country house and many of its features too, including high embossed ceilings and fine wooden panelling. The two of you will be served an afternoon tea with a glass of chilled champagne each in these wonderful surroundings. Sandwiches, scones with cream and preserves, fresh cakes from the kitchen and a choice of tea or coffee will make your afternoon of tasty treats together, truly scrumptious.

What happens on the day?
On your arrival at Grinkle Park Hotel the two of you should make your way to reception to be greeted by a member of staff and shown to your table, you will be served an array of tea time treats with a glass of chilled champagne each.
Enjoy your selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, scones with cream and jam as well as a choice of fine tea or coffee, at a leisurely pace as you soak up the atmosphere around you.

This experience is available seven days a week throughout the year, excluding Christmas, New Year and Valentines.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for your tea.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

“Champagne Tea”
Grinkle Park Hotel is a lovely building and beautifully situated. We were met at reception and shown to a table overlooking the landscaped gardens. The afternoon Tea consisted of a selection of well filled sandwiches, tasty cakes and scones plus a glass of Champagne. The Staff were excellent. A love afternoon and I highly recommend it.
