Each hotel is unique, with its own history, character and beautiful setting, from Victorian town houses to country houses surrounded by acres of gardens and woodland.
During your afternoon tea you will enjoy an array of hand-cut sandwiches, home-baked cakes, scones with jam and cream and a pot of fine tea or coffee. “An epic day out ”
Had a great time at Grizedale Forest GoApe. There is a good mix of activities in the treetop challenge including some epic zip wires. Definitely was pushed out of my comfort zone but always felt safe. The kids in our group loved it. There can be a bit of waiting around between the platforms. Our experience lasted well over three hours from start to finish so allow plenty of time. A very good value experience.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at your chosen Classic Lodge Hotel, you will be greeted by staff and directed to your table. You will be served a delightful display of sandwiches, home baked cakes, scones with jam and cream, a fine selection of teas or coffees and, of course, your glass of champagne.
Relax and enjoy your afternoon tea and take in the atmosphere of the hotel. All the classic lodges are passionate about their afternoon tea, believing it is one of the joys of life. At whichever hotel you choose to take your experience you will enjoy the stunning location and relaxing atmosphere.

This experience is available seven days a week throughout the year, excluding Christmas, New Year and Valentines.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for your tea.
You are welcome to stroll around your chosen hotel’s grounds before of after your experience as some venues have woodlands, lakes and fabulous gardens.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
