What happens on the day?
Begin your musical journey at the British Music Experience in Liverpool’s Cunard Building. On arrival, you’ll be greeted before getting full reign to explore the numerous galleries.
Your trip to Liverpool would not be complete without a visit to The Beatles Story, the world’s largest permanent Beatles exhibition. Take a self-guided tour through the lives and times of the Fab Four and elevate your immersive experience with a multimedia guide in 12 different languages narrated by John Lennon’s sister. It’s a must for any music fan.

- British Music Experience:
The British Music Experience main entrance on Canada Boulevard features two flights of stone steps. accessible entrance on Brunswick Street is reached via a ramp. Please use the intercom at the door and a member of the team will assist you. Alternatively, ask for assistance from the staff outside the main entrance.
All circulation spaces within the British Music Experience are fully accessible for wheelchairs, including the Merch Store and Star Cafe. There are a number of wheelchairs which can be reserved by contacting the ticket desk.
All audio areas of the exhibition have integrated loop systems. Visitors with hearing aids should switch to their 'T' setting. The British Music Experience has audio guides, with printed versions available on request. These can also be sent out via email or by post. Hearing dogs are welcome. An audio-described guide is available free of charge from the ticket desk. Please note that the lighting levels can vary throughout the venue. Some galleries have low light while our Merch Store and Star Café have large windows and can be extremely bright.
The British Music Experience operates a Free Carers Policy. They will provide a free carer ticket to any customer requiring essential assistance for their visit - The Beatles Story
Carers may enter free of charge on production of valid I.D
The Beatles Story is accessible for guests with wheelchairs, pushchairs and hearing loops

Please note due to current restrictions the experience is available 10.00 to 16.00 (last admission 15.00)
Closures include: 25 to 26 December each year.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow at least 1 hour 30 minutes to enjoy your visit for each attraction and additional time to travel between the venues.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
