Kick things off with a sample of four premium gins, before learning all about the notorious spirit’s chequered past and its prevalence in the world today. Armed with your newfound botanical knowledge, it’ll be on to the scientific stuff, creating your own delicious 20cl bottle of gin to take home.
As part of your experience you’ll also take home your personal choice of botanicals and a recipe booklet, so you can continue the creations at home, along with two Glencairn crystal G&T glasses so you can toast your concoctions in style.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at your chosen Gin Lounge location, you’ll meet your resident Gin expert and your fellow gin enthusiasts. Kick things off with an introduction to all things gin, sampling four varieties of premium gins as you learn about their origins, as well as the smell and flavours to expect upon tasting.
Armed with your newfound expertise, you’ll get to grips with creating your own gin, using botanicals to slowly build up a delicious spirit of your very own. You can take home your finished creation, along with two Glencairn crystal G&T glasses to drink up in style. To continue the creativity long after the class is over, you’ll also receive a recipe booklet and an envelope of your chosen botanicals.

Availability
This experience is available on selected dates throughout the year. Please note: new class dates will be released soon.
We recommend you book at least eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for the whole experience.
Please note there is a minimum attendance of 20 people for an event to go ahead. If numbers are short and the event is cancelled an alternative date will be offered.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

This was a Christmas gift. We really enjoyed the very informative and fun experience provided by Chris our host. The gins that we tasted were an excellent choice. We are really looking forward to tasting our own designer gin. The only thing that I would suggest is a change of venue. The toilets left an awful lot to be desired. We also experienced problems when making our booking.
