What happens on the day?
As a passenger arriving at the offices of Goodwood Aerodrome, you will take a seat in the lounge which provides views across the airfield so you will be able to watch the helicopters and other aircraft taking off and landing. Before your own flight, you will receive a safety briefing and then be escorted out to the aircraft for your 15 minute flight. You will fly over the Goodwood Estate including the Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit & Aerodrome, Goodwood House, and Goodwood Racecourse, as well as the South Coast’s magnificent beaches and bays.
Once clear of the aerodrome circuit you will embark on an aerial tour of the southern coastline including Selsey Bill, the beaches at The Witterings and Chichester Harbour. You will view Chichester and its Cathedral with a bird’s eye view and on a clear day Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight and the South Downs will also be clearly visible to you.Goodwood Estate and onto the South Coast’s glorious beaches and bays. Amongst many other wonderful sights, your aerial tour will include Chichester and its famous Cathedral. Don’t forget your camera!

- Minimum age: 4 (under 16s need to be accompanied by a paying adult)
- Maximum weight: 16 stone
- Spectators are welcome, but are only permitted on to the airfield itself with a staff escort (subject to availability) and may watch from the viewing lounge
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
This flight is run on selected dates only, usually Saturdays or Sundays, from April to October.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
You should allow 30 to 40 minutes for the whole experience but your flight time will be 15 minutes.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
