Afternoon Tea-back to the good old days
We had a Friday afternoon tea- delightful just like old times. Making the booking was easy and they greeted us warmly on arrival. Being a sunny afternoon in September we sat outside and enjoyed the event. Tea arrived first then a 3 layered sandwich/cake stand. Sandwiches were lovely with 3 each. Then 2 lovely scones with cream and jam. Followed by 4 cakes-chocolate mousse, blueberries on custard. Service was good and friendly

Lovely day out!
Explored Piccadilly Circus and what it has to offer before we sat down for afternoon tea. The restaurant looks beautiful and we were severed a generous amount. Good selection of exotic teas too! For the price it’s hard to beat.

Very enjoyable afternoon tea
The only negatives: the restaurant was really tight and the toilets are desperate for an update, but the afternoon tea itself was delicious but could do with more tea. The ratio of sandwiches to scones and cakes was very good as well

Overall great tea experience
Had a good time with this gift tea for two. My only comment would be that it would be nice if there could be more variety in vegetarian sandwiches. The olive one was great, but for those who are veggie but don't like mayo there's not much choice. But overall had a great time, not a stuffy formal tea but a good variety of cakes. From an admin perspective, our booking was confirmed twice over the course of two months yet they had no record of our booking upon our arrival.

Tea for Two
Went to Cafe Concerto in Piccadilly for afternoon tea which had been a Christmas Gift. Lovely location just up the road from the park, The Ritz, Royal Academy an opposite side to Fortnum and Mason. Welcome an service was lovely. Food an quantity very good. Also quality was good. Tables a bit small for fitting cake stands onto it an quite a lot of noise but hey its London an Cafe popular an busy, Not a lot they can do about that. Great visit overall an created great memories.

Afternoon tea
Tried to book at Caffe Concerto in Piccadilly but nobody answered the phone. Booked at Caffe Concerto Whitehall. Lady on phone was polite and efficient. Afternoon tea was pleasant, although more sandwiches would have been nice. 2 male waiters were ok but brusque and when I asked for more tea, I was told I'd have to pay, which i'd realised, but it was the manner in which I was told. Was it worth £38, no I don't think so.

Xmas gift
Please be aware that the tea is quite basic for its cost, you get literally a cup of tea, we were very disappointed to be charged £4.50 for a second cup. The tea was fine but there were three cakes between 2, one a macaroon only. Also it is a walk in restaurant so lots of people just eating pasta etc beside you. Many other venues in London comparable price but much better. Also beware of service charge added to bill as well.

OK
The afternoon tea was pleasant enough, and the service was good. However the content of the tea was not as advertised on their website (eg no roast beef sandwiches) and the pot of tea was tiny. We needed more tea and got charged for extra pots! This has never happened at any venue where we've taken tea before. The cakes/pastries were nothing like the gorgeous ones in their window, either.

Tea was cold, customer service was ok but they said they didn’t recognise my voucher code which is annoying so they kept coming over. The cakes were ok and the scones were lovely.

Afternoon Tea
The Afternoon Tea for Two at Caffe Concerto London was very good food wise, but you only got one hot drink per person and the serving staff weren't very friendly

Disappointing
Booked this as a treat for myself and my daughter after her GCSEs. It was very disappointing. The staff did not make any effort to make us feel special. The food was quite nice. Afternoon tea is not something you do every day and you want staff to show you some care and attention. I wouldn’t go back or recommend it.

Rubbish Service
They got 2 stars because the food itself was nice. However the service was rubbish. Ignored at least twice. Looked like the staff could not be bothered. They seemed annoyed that we were using a voucher.
