60 minute Tiger Moth Trial Lesson

On arrival at the chosen airfield in Ashford you’ll be greeted by your pilot before being kitted out in all the necessary gear.

A safety briefing will get you up to speed before you clamber into the cockpit, and from there it’s nothing but thrills as you take off, fly and land over an exceptional 60 minutes in a de Havilland Tiger Moth.

• Minimum age: 16 (under 18s need parental or guardian consent)
• Minimum height: 5ft
• Maximum height: 6ft 4in
• Maximum weight: 18 stone
• There are no specific medical requirements but if in doubt please consult your doctor. You must be physically able to climb in and out of the aircraft
• Spectators are welcome, and facilities on site usually include the availability of hot drinks and snacks
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

This experience is available on selected dates throughout the flying season. Please note flying time in this classic aircraft is restricted to help preserve and maintain the aircraft, hence availability is strictly limited.

We recommend you book at least eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 2 hours for this experience - the flight itself will last approximately 60 minutes.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
