About this experience
Ever dreamed of flying a fighter jet but don’t fancy the face-bending g-force? If so, this 60 Minute F16 Fighter Pilot Simulator Experience is for you. Channel your inner Maverick as you hop into the cockpit of your General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) F16 Block 52. Via your immersive 180 degree projector system, you’ll get a feel for what it’s really like to fly one of these world-class military jets.
You’ll be talked through the flight ahead in the briefing room, where you can sit back and relax before the mission ahead. Your fully enclosed cockpit features all the controls you’d see in an actual F16, and with a range of flight scenarios to choose from, you can get an authentic taste of what life as an F16 pilot is like.
Up to six spectators are welcome to come along, so prepare to wow friends or family with your spectacular dogfight skills.

What happens on the day?
Upon arrival to the Yorkshire Flight Simulator, you’ll be welcomed and taken through to the briefing room where you’ll be offered a tea or coffee and will be talked through the experience to come.
Once you’ve decided on what you want to get up to on your flight, it’ll be into the cockpit for your amazing F16 simulator experience to get underway.

- Minimum age: 18
- You are welcome to bring up to six spectators
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Available seven days a week. Date restrictions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Your flight is for 60 minutes but please allow for 2 hours on site.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

What a great Xmas present. Unfortunately due to Covid this had to be put off until, now, September. However still a great experience. Probably one I will be repeating. Its great fun. One to one tuition with no distractions due to the restrictions in place of one group in the building at a time. felt to really get the full time flying.
