What happens on the day?
On arrival to the Yorkshire Flight Simulator, you’ll be welcomed and shown to the waiting room, where you can relax with a tea or coffee while your flight instructor runs through everything you need to know for the flight. If you’re bringing friends or family, they can relax with hot drinks while keeping a close eye on your flying.
Entering the Cessna Skyhawk, you’ll sit in a mock ejector seat, which then slides into the cockpit. You can take your pick of global airports to fly from, different weather, seasons and time of day, so the flight’s fully tailored to you. Get ready to fly in style with this fantastic, totally immersive experience.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 11 (under 18s must be a accompanied by an adult)
- Participants must be able to use both hands to fly the simulators
- Wheel chair access is available
- Participants with epilepsy are not advised to use the simulators
- You are welcome to bring up to six spectators
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Available Saturday to Wednesday 10.00 to 18.00. Date restrictions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Your flight is for 60 minutes but please allow for 1 hour 30 minutes on site.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
