Channel your inner 1950's pin-up for a makeover and photoshoot that takes you right back to the 1957 tune ‘Peggy Sue’ - one of Buddy Holly’s all-time greatest hits.
Following a warm welcome, soda and a pre-shoot consultation, you’ll be pampered with a 50's styled hair and makeup makeover. Looking the part, you can then pick out one of the fantastic themed outfits and props to take with you into the fast-paced, Rock n’ Roll Americano photo shoot. With a soundtrack of 50's classics blaring from the wireless and a great selection of backgrounds, your experienced photographer will create a series of images you can cherish forever.
You’ll be able to enjoy an image viewing where you can check out your images and pick an A4 print as a souvenir of your experience. You'll also receive a £50 voucher to use towards albums or wall hangings.

This photographer is a genius at his art. The make up session made me feel special and relaxed. They make a great team. I was made to feel at ease straight away which helped enormously. The experience was so good im wanting to go back for a different shoot. I was so interested to see all the other photographs he had taken they blew my mind. What happens on the day?
On arrival at your pre-booked location, you’ll be welcomed with a drink and a pre-shoot consultation before heading through for a 50’s inspired makeover. Try on some on the themed outfits and meet your experienced photographer before heading through to Rock n’ Roll Americano themed area for your photoshoot.
You’ll have an image reviewing session where you can choose your A4 print from your experience (not all studios offer instant viewing - a convenient appointment will be arranged to return to view your images). A £50 voucher is included to put towards wall hangings and albums.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 18 (under 21s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian)
- You will receive one complimentary print. A p&p charge will be payable to cover Recorded Delivery of your print(s) at some locations. A fully refundable booking deposit of £30 (from January 2022 this will increase to £35) must be paid at time of booking, this is refunded at viewing or if cancelled with at least 3 days prior notice to the session
- Some Studios may not be able to cater for double or back-to-back sessions, please check when booking your experience
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
Availability
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before your expiry date. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Most studios are open on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year. All studios work by appointment only.
We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
You should expect to spend a total of approximately 3 hours at the studio (includes hair , makeup, photography session and viewing so may be split over two visits).
Please be aware that some viewings are not available on the same day and a viewing appointment on a later date may be necessary. No more than one voucher can be used in a 12 month period per person.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

“50s makeover and photoshoot”
Delayed by 18 months due to COVID but when we got there it was enjoyable and very professional. It had been a Christmas gift for my granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed her day.

A great experience I was made very welcome by Joe and Alex. The photos aren't cheap but they were fab and once in a lifetime pics, the effort that goes into producing them makes it totally worth it. I took along a couple of my own dresses and some props, but you don't have to as everything is provided. My husband came along too and I think he enjoyed it as much as me.
