Nice Hotel, food mediocre
The hotel was quite nice, a bit old fashioned but the staff were friendly and helpful. we stayed in one of the small bungalows attached to the Grove hotel. It was very small but adequate, with its own little kitchen with microwave and fridge. The food was disappointing,

Lovely dinner and night away
The Grove was a comfy hotel where we were well looked after, the dinner was delicious and the location was wonderful, to be able to walk through the woods on to the coast path was a treat.

Absolute heaven
I had an amazing time at The Grove Cromer. It’s a beautifully placed hotel, just a few moments from the beach, the town centre, all the great walking routes, has fantastic food, you must must must try their high tea (ordered 24 hours in advance) and have a massage or 3 like I did. I am going to return, such a breath of fresh air, top quality too. Thank you :)

Superb I will be back
The Grove Cromer is amazing, such a beautiful place, right next to the beach, ocean, walks, bliss, I don’t know where to start. Summing up my stay, a team with loads of smiles on their faces, always happy to help, a great room, amazing scenery, walks, or fantastic food and massages made in heaven!!!! So much more that I thought I would get. I am officially in love with this place. Thank you all :)

What a good experience!
We were given this Virgin Experience as a Christmas present and we found the validation of the voucher and the booking very easy. Our hotel was first class with good food, comfortable accommodation and friendly and attentive staff. All in all a very good 'experience'.

superb food, great location
Just returned from a great getaway worth every minute of the 4 hour drive. The location is great a very pleasant 15 min walk through some woods brings you to the beach and Cromer town. The accommodation is large and airy sent in lovely gardens and is very quiet. The staff are excellent getting the helpful/not intrusive balance just right. But the best thing was the food it was quite simply stunning and would go back just to eat.

Wonderful experience
My wife and I have just spent a long weekend in Cromer, staying at The Grove. From booking our trip in January to leaving the hotel at the end of our stay the whole experience was excellent. The entire process went as planned. We stayed in 2 different rooms and both were very well furnished and comfortable. The food was all freshly cooked and was delicious with plenty of choice, the wines were also very good and reasonably priced. The key factor, which is often the case, comes down to the staff.

Excellent Night out
We were greeted by Richard with a cheery smile. The room (Victoria) was very spacious and roomy and with underfloor heating, very warm and cosy. In the afternoon we walked down to the town which is a nice coastal cliff-top walk On our return we sat in the lounge for afternoon tea and again the staff were very pleasant and attentive while giving us space. Our evening meal was very relaxed and the food was absolutely fantastic as were the staff. The ambiance is excellent - many thanks

Great place to chill!
Very quaint period property with modern outlets to stay and lovely grounds too. Good facilities and friendly staff. Unable to report in massage hut as closed during stay due to Covid-19. Would definitely revisit when the country is back to normal.

A really enjoyable occasion
A very restful location well away from roads, etc. The hotel was fabulous with a nice walk through the woods to the beach and coastal walks. Lovely warm swimming pool. Delicious food. The staff member who offered to carry our hanging clothes deserves special mention.

Lovely Break
We had a cabin room which was absolutely lovely. Very comfy bed and the tea coffee facilities the best we have ever encountered with a very wide range of teas and even some freshly ground coffee in a jar with a small cafetaire. The bathroom had all the toiletries you could want, except toothpaste.Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. The choice for breakfast was amazing. Dinner menu for me was quite limited but then i am quite fussy. My wife however found plenty to choose from. A great break.

A little overpriced
Luckily was given £100 voucher towards this. If I had paid the full price myself I would have been a bit miffed. Ok accommodation but had a great meal.

What a shame
The Grove lets itself down by poor attention to detail, sub standard food and no one seems to care about quality or the experience of guests. This is a shame as the accommodation and location are not bad. We stayed on a Sunday evening and at dinner they asked how we wanted the beef cooked which was pointless as it turns out they serve reheated beef from lunch which was inedible. Breakfast was a ok but you have to ask for the basics butter, glasses, cutlery, ketchup, etc. Needs a manager who cares.
