Nice little hotel in picturesque location.
Stayed two nights B&B .. good portions of tasty food, nice clean spacious room, Nice helpful staff. Carpark is tight for larger cars - but that can not be helped geographically.. would stay again.

A lovely gift
An experience that we would never have dreamt of buying for ourselves. A fascinating insight into how ‘the other jalf’ live. Luxurious accommodation in a 5* hotel situated in a beautiful remote corner of Cornwall. Delicious food and wines and very attentive staff made it the experience of a lifetime - for us.

Excellent small hotel
Our one night stay at The Lugger hotel was fantastic. The staff were brilliant, the location was awesome and the food was delicious. The room was small but perfectly formed with everything and more you could ask for. The attention to detail was fantastic and the service provided by the staff went above and beyond expectations. Couldn't recommended any more highly.

Portloe Hotel
Idyllic location overlooking a quintessential small Cornish fishing harbour. The quality and selection of the food and the attentiveness of the staff justified the rosette rating. Couple of negatives, our apartment, whilst small was very cosy. However, the pricing did not reflect on the quality of the bathroom and it’s fitments which were in desperate need of replacing & redecorating.

Not the Greatest experience.
Everybody at the hotel were very hospitable & helpful. If you are physically challenged it is not the best place for you. Bedrooms and dining room/bar/lounge in different buildings. Too many steep steps, bannisters not a lot of use in some cases. Food - trying too hard. Not to my taste. Service very slow. Waited over 30 minutes for dessert (only ice cream). They were busy but I do not see any excuse for such a long wait. Breakfast was very slow coming, again had to wait 35 minutes.

Not Very Good At All
We stayed 23/10/20. First thing that struck my wife and I was the standard of cleanliness in the room, There were coffee or coke stains on the room door as well as dirty hand prints, the window ledges and skirtings were badly stained and piled with dust, the bedside tables were full of debris of some sort crumbs and other stuff. There were marks all over the walls and the lamp shades were stained. The restaurant itself had spider webs with spiders in every corner. There is more but no space left
