One Night Glamping Break at Stanley Villa Farm
Overview
Imagine the campfire crackling away, the low sun reflecting its amber light across a secluded lake. You’ve just poured yourself a drink. You’re camping except you never pitched a tent... Stop daydreaming and make the wistful a reality with a One Night Glamping Break at Stanley Villa Farm.
Your lakeside accommodation is fully insulated to keep the warmth in, while your individual fire-pit can keep the chills away outside. A stone’s throw from your pod, you’ll find the fully equipped Lakeside Lodge, home to kitchen facilities and plug points. Or you can dodge the lodge altogether and cook up a storm on one of the many BBQs – just don’t burn the sausages!
With plenty to do both on and off site and events throughout the year including carp fishing and country walks, there’s never been a better time to get your glamp on.

Brilliant Find
We were exited to stay in a pod In the countryside and was not disappointed. The place was clean and well maintained with friendly staff, loved the fire pit and the view of the fishing lake. We are looking forward to staying again and will bring the dog next time.

Warm and cosy.
My girlfriend and I stayed the night in March. We had a lovely evening. The pod didn't have electic or heating, but there was battery lighting and very comfy beds, clean and tidy. There were hot water bottles which we usued to warm our sleeping bags, we brought with us and our duvet. There is a large lake in front of a communal lodge beautiful by day and in the evening listening to the birds. The lodge had heating, games, kitchen all you needed free tea, etc. heated Shower/toilet room. GREAT

Lovely location
Cute little pods on a pretty site. The manager, Alex, was super friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The pods are right next to a lake which we enjoyed a stroll around. Made use of the fire pit that came with our pod. Would go again.

1st wedding anniversary
We went for something different instead of a hotel we wanted to go glamping and what a experience it was, it was utterly beautiful we had a fire sat around it all night talking watching people just walk by kids playing not everyone stuck to their phones was lovely. Only think can fault is the fact you have to hire camping chairs should come within the packages like chairs and a table or something and also should come with logs for the fire. Other than that would highly recommend anyone going.

A great 1st time experience!
This was our first experience of this nature, a present from my sister to my Daughter and I. We thought the site looked lovely, my Daughter said it reminded her of the Hobit village, perhaps a theme day would be a good idea. My BBQ skills were rusty and it showed but it didnt stop my Daughyer tucking into the food. We were lucky with the weather too which added to the experience, the clear night allowed us to have Marshmellows round the fire place. We decided against the cold water showers mind.

Lovely night away.
We had a lovely time. The pods were just big enough to fit myself, my husband and my 8 and 3 year old.they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Was very hot during the day(weather was hot) but you don’t really need to spend much time in there when you have everything you need in the cabin. Free tea, coffe and hot chocolate.kids games available in the children’s pod as well as games in the cabin. We had an excellent stay. Very well kept and a lovely walk around the lake.Definitely recommend.

Nice weekend
Hi great weekend, very wet before hand but stayed dry once we were there. Clean pod until we got there, mud, pod 1 is apart from the main Area, good for couples?? It’s what you make of it really, thought there was leccy being glamping experience so sourced more light from Aldi down the Road along with food to cook, bbq wasn’t very usable so we used our gas one, but the fire pit was fun, pods were warm enough even for October, The facility’s were great. Fab Relaxation Break
I spent a night at the camping pods at Stanley Farm Villas with my partner and it was perfect. The pods are warm and cosy, we had Pod 1 which overlooked the lake and was separate so perfect for couples. Each pod has a BBQ and FirePit and it was so peaceful. Definitely recommend.

Good night's fun
We turned up late evening after a day out to find the place was really nice with brilliant views over the lake. The pods themselves were bigger then I thought and very clean could do with a hook to keep door open but that's somthing easy to add. They kids had so much fun playing on the field and rosting marshmallows which you can buy fire wood and lighters there (which I did at a good price). Also a shout out has to go to Alex the manager he made us so welcome and nothing was to much.

Pretty Chilly in Winter
Pods are clean but VERY basic and were freezing when we stayed. Luckily there are hot water bottles in the "common room" which was fantastic! Toilets, showers, electricity, kitchen with tea/coffee/toaster and heating in the common room which was great. Limited on space if taking kids as the pods are small but probably standard size. Overall pretty average stay.

One night "glamping"
Me and my partner stayed for one night and really enjoyed it; the pods are very basic - 2 single beds and 2 small lights, but there is a lodge with washing facilities and a kitchen which was all clean and well maintained. The weather was great so we spent the evening sat outside our pod and - not having brought enough charcoal - was given a big bag for no charge from the owner who had some spare. A lovely evening :)

One nights glamping stay
We were pleasantly suprised by the camp sight, whilst basic they were clean and tidy The lady who greeted us was lovely and very helpful whilst there. Ive knocked a star off due to the fact there was no staff from just before 6pm until 9.15pm who stayed for no more than 10 minutes and no staff there when we woke up in the morning but the showers were locked and no one there to gain access from. I understand it was quiet only us and another couple but plans should have be put into place.

Refurbishment needed
The location was beautiful the lake was lovely. The pod itself was dirty. We was told the lock was a bit odd and you had to lift it up and back to lock it which I wasn’t bothered about but when we got to the pod it was obvious someone had forced the door open or something as the frame was all cracked. Also we paid £5 for firewood which was wet and took near on 2 hours to get going. The showering facilities need an overhaul didn’t appear very clean therefore we didn’t use them

Very enjoyable one night break
Self check in at the unmanned site office was no problem as clear instructions were left to guide us to our pod. Very pleasant location with comfortable beds with supplied mattresses. The only concern was the number of pods having to share 3 wet room/toilets. If glamping is to continue long term at this site then additional bathroom and toilet facilities would be a welcome addition. Overall a great experience in a friendly relaxed environment.

Glamping review
The area was beautiful, the pods were adequate, but I do feel that the floor in the pods and communal bathrooms could do with being updated. Nice site and very trusting staff.
