One Night Premier Break for Two at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel
Overview
Take a break in Hertfordshire and escape to the countryside for a spell, enjoying colourful scenery as you explore and rest with this One Night Premier Break for Two at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.
Still playing home to a herd of dairy cows on the estate, the Tewin Bury Farm Hotel has been looking after guests (and dairy cows) for over 30 years. You can spend your time roaming the countryside if you’re in the mood to get back to nature or hang out in your comfortable Premier Room.
With Welwyn Garden City just a short distance away (and St Albans a little further) there’s loads to see and do in the area, from Roman Baths to a dry ski slope, and there’s sure to be somewhere delicious to discover when it comes to dinner. The hotel itself has a restaurant stocked with fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce for you to savour, and it’s here in the morning you’ll be served a full English breakfast, ready to head out on another adventure or make your lazy way home.

Beautiful place with lots to do out and about
Tewin Bury farm was a beautiful place to stay, with little nooks to discover and a nice countryside walk by fields full of sheep and rabbits. Welwyn had some interesting days out around too, we enjoyed hiring a swan boat at the nearby park and seeing the remains of the Roman baths. The hotel room was spacious and included nice things like posh tea and coffee and nice fragrant toiletries, the breakfast was delicious and beautifully laid out. Would recommend, we had a lovely time, thank you.

Excellent stay
Tewin Bury Farm is a great place to stay. The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good and there is everything you need. The food at the Cowshed is very good, not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Breakfast is also very good with a great selection of items to choose from.

Relaxing break
Visited with my partner for a romantic night away. As soon as we pulled up I felt instantly relaxed by the surrounding scenery. Our room was beautiful, tidy and clean. I loved the rustic yet modern feel of the farm. The staff were very friendly and professional. We had dinner and drinks in the evening, and breakfast the morning after our stay - both occasions the food was great! Would definitely visit again.

A good stopover that needed to be longer
As this experience was a gift I cannot comment on value for money. We only stayed for one night and it was raining. We will be going again for 2 or 3 nights the staff were excellent and the food was very good, there’s at lot of walks around the area and the accommodation was excellent. All the little extras make a great deal of difference and the conversion of the farm was good.

Perfect for a quiet away-from-it-all break
Very spacious and luxurious room with all we needed for a bit of 'rest and recuperation' in lovely countryside, at this prestigious hotel. Staff were all extremely professional and helpful. Food at the restaurant was perfect, including the excellent breakfast.

Very nice
Location of this hotel is lovely. Close to Welwyn Garden City, but in the countryside. Other reviews of this hotel are very good. However I felt I could not rate it 5 stars as I feel it could have been a bit cleaner. Attention to detail was lacking. Bathroom was very new and modern, but the towel rail hadn't been dusted for a long time. The mezzanine floor had a scruffy old table which the TV was on. However we did have a double bed downstairs and 2 singles upstairs. We had only booked a twin.
