Amazing stay
Really enjoyed our time there, the service was perfect and food. Only bad thing I can say was 30min at the pool was a bit short but I understand it’s because of the pandemic so it’s restricted. Very clean and lovely room. Everyone extremely polite. Was shown a nice magic trick for my son. Location is really good it’s in the middle of everything short walk or drive.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings
Just returned from my virgin experience at Hillthwaite. Had a lovely time, staff are all so helpful and the hotel is beautiful. We had our room upgraded free of charge so had an ‘occasion’ room with a view over Bowness-on-Windermere. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops and had a heated indoor pool which was still open despite the snow outside! Only negative was that my boyfriends cooked breakfast was a little disappointing with cold baked beans and missing sausages!

A Great Escape
From check in to check out, the hotel, its staff, facilities, restaurant and food, plus good suggestions for cocktails and other drinks at the bar made our stay a genuinely wonderful escape. All that combined with a great setting means we will certainly return

Great stay.
Was a lovely hotel very clean and tidy and staff very friendly. The reason for the 4 star is because the room was so hot, me and my partner went out for a drive at 1 in the morning, the fan was pretty useless! It felt like their was under floor heating. Also the veiw was A few walls, was absolutely gutted about this considering the price. For the room we had I would have happily paid £100 but if the view was better then defiantly the full price

Stay in Bowness
Hotel was lovely, views breath taking, the room was fine although its location not so good. Up several flights of stairs and along a few corridors with an internal view of other parts of rhe hotel (probley the worst view in the hotel).
