Lovely hotel in a fabulous setting
We stayed one night at Dunkeld House. The hotel is very large and it took us a while to find our way round! The staff were friendly and helpful. In the restaurant and bar there were lots of staff ensuring excellent service. The room was large and comfortable. Outside in front of the hotel is the river Tay with a lovely walk down the river to Dunkeld which is quite a nice village. I would definitely stay here again. Brilliant gift.

So so
Beautiful setting and hotel. Breakfast excellent with good range of choices. Went elsewhere for dinner as felt limited menu choice with drinks/food very overpriced compared to many other hotels.Main negative was staying in General Wade house as we had dog with us. Lovely room but soundproofing terrible. Not hotel fault but family sharing 2 rooms next door slammed doors, shouted & had a barking dog non stop from 8.30pm till 11.30pm and ruined our stay. Couldn’t move room as no dogs in main hotel
