Two Night Escape for Two at the Norfolk Arms Hotel
Overview
Whisk yourself away to West Sussex with an adventurous companion by your side for a two night break within the shadow of a castle with this Two Night Escape for Two at the Norfolk Arms Hotel.
Built over 200 years ago by the 10th Duke of Norfolk, the Norfolk Arms Hotel is a Georgian Coaching Inn just 5 minutes’ walk from the medieval Arundel Castle, just one of the sites you can visit or things you can see during your time in the market town of Arundel. There’s free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, so there’s nothing to stand in your way before heading out on a West Sussex exploration from your Norfolk Arms base camp.
After each night in your standard room, a full English breakfast will be provided for you both to set you up for the day’s activities.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful town
To actually book the experience took a few goes but once we got that bit sorted it was easy going. The area-wow!! What a beautiful area! The hotel was lovely, the staff very friendly and the service was perfect. We really don’t have anything to complain about. The only downside for the area was the castle was closed for the season but it was such a beautiful area that it wasn’t the end of the world. We would love to go back to the area at some point.

Two Night Escape for Two
A great gift and well needed, time away from our hectic lives. Booking through Virgin was simple, confirmation with the hotel so easy and dates available including the weekend and upgrade. The weekend was fantastic, hotel brilliant and the staff superb. We both thoroughly enjoyed our deserved break and would definately use this again both Virgin and the hotel.

Arundel
We had a super room, king size bed and 2 chairs, plenty of room to move about and masses of storage space. Helpful, friendly staff.

nice but could have been so much better
Room requested on the ground floor due to mobility issues with stairs which was granted but as it was a "superior" room it would have an additional charge of £50 a night. What made it superior I do not know, the room was spacious, bathroom was ok, bit dated but it all worked this " superior" room didn't even have s fridge! My laptop reported that the internet in the hotel was "suspect and may be dangerous" and advised not using it which coupled with only getting a 3G phone signal was not good.
