You could try improving your golfing game with books and instructional videos, but they're no substitution for tuition from the genuine article. Get some one-to-one expert advice and work on your skills with this 60 Minute Golf Lesson with a PGA Professional.

Available at a choice of locations including some of the best golf courses in the UK, you’ll be teeing off like a pro in no time under the tutelage of a qualified PGA coach. You’ll get to go through each aspect of your game from putting to driving, with plenty of tips and advice to improve and become the envy of the fairway. Your lesson will be catered specially to your particular skill level too, so even if you’re an absolute beginner the PGA professional will be able to help you hone your skills.

If you decide you’d like to continue your tuition with further golf lessons once your 60 minutes is over, you’ll also have a £5 discount off your next lesson booked if you make the booking on the day.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at your chosen location, you’ll be greeted by your PGA professional who will brief you on the format for the lesson.

Please note that each golf coach works slightly differently, but in general you will begin by being asked about your previous golfing history before heading out onto the course for approximately 60 minutes of one-to-one coaching. Throughout your lesson, you will receive expert analysis of your technique to improve your golfing style and technique.

Participant guidelines

Minimum age: 8 (Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location

Availability

This experience is available on selected days of the week, subject to availability.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

You should allow approximately 60 minutes for the lesson. Please arrive in plenty of time in advance to change and meet your pro.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Excellent Golf Lesson

I found my golf lesson very enjoyable and worthwhile. Neil was very knowledgeable and once I receive the WhatsApp with videos and information provided during the lesson. I will be able to use all the advice he gave me. Really worthwhile I would recommend.

Great introduction to golf

This was my first time in actually playing golf and the proper way to play The session was very informative and easy going My Golf Pro, Martin Heyes was very good in the instruction of the game I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and am looking forward to booking up more sessions.

Great Golf Lesson

Steve Clay at Blackmoor Golf Club was an excellent golf pro who used Trackman golf software to monitor my shots - an excellent way to see what I was actually doing. By the end of the lesson I had a much better understanding of my swing and what to aim for going forward.

Golf training with Sophie at Etchinghill

This was a birthday gift from my daughters and I thought an hour with a PGA pro might help a little with my short game but Sophie is an excellent teacher who put me at my ease and corrected my (many!) faults and suggested ways to improve my game close to the pin. Overall an excellent hour which will help me for the next few years....thank you Sophie!

Long needed golf lesson

I am a 10 handicap golfer and the weakest part of my game has been bunker play and my handicap would be better, if I was more proficient dealing with bunker shots. I used this opportunity for a golf lesson, to help me with this failing in my game. The professional Andrew Wylde at the chosen venue, was excellent in his approach to helping me greatly with my issues with my standard of play and I will be seeking his coaching skills again in the near future. Excellent coach!!

Excellent lesson

Booked a 1 hr golf lesson with Johnny Powell at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club. There were a number of problems with my swing (rather more than I’d hoped!) but with the aid of an iPad, he explained very clearly a few fundamental issues that I was able to address. My swing had definitely improved by the end of the lesson. I’ve booked three further lessons to help consolidate these changes. Thanks a lot Johnny!

I made the appointment direct with Shaun at Wirral golf club. Plenty of time slots to choose from and enjoyed my lesson as sum bad habits that had crept into swing. Have had good success on the fairways going straighter since.

Golf Lesson

I originally had a Fathers Day gift for a Rally Experience but swapping it for a much needed golf lesson was easy on the Virgin website. The golf lesson was great and with the use of a video camera it was easy to see what needed to be corrected during slow motion playback. Also there were a few physical aids to correct my swing path. The 60 minute lesson just flew by and many thanks to Aaron for his perseverance.
